Interventional pain management
In many patients with advanced cancers , pain becomes a major issue and impedes quality of life . Using image guidance we perform a variety of pain relieving procedures such as vertebroplasty /cemetoplasty for bone lesions and plexus / nerve blocks to selectively target and interrupt certain nerves which carry pain signal from the tumor to the brain . This makes the patient comfortable and significantly improves the quality of life .
