Vydehi Cancer center hosted an academic event, a postgraduate multidisciplinary tumor board competition on March 7th 2026. This case based tumor board was contested by 8 different teams from teaching institutes across Bangalore. It was moderated by 24 different expert panellists. Dr. Shekhar Patil and Dr. Giri GV judged the tumor boards conducted by 8 different moderators who were experts in those streams. Nearly 100 delegates actively participated in this academic event. Student teams from Manipal and St John’s medical college were declared the winners. The 1st prize of this event was dedicated to Dr. V D Karpurmath. All the participants appreciated the innovative program as well as the scientific content.
