Dr. M. S. Ganesh is the Head of Vydehi Cancer Center, Bengaluru, India. He is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Vydehi Cancer Center.
Dr. Ganesh completed his post-graduate M.Ch. training in Surgical Oncology at the renowned Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai. He has received training in surgical laparoscopy from the European Telesurgery Institute, Strasbourg, France and advanced Cytoreductive surgery, HIPEC from the European Surgical Institute, Hamburg, Germany.
He has held the position of Assistant Professor at the Cancer Institute in Adyar, Chennai, Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Dharamshila Cancer Center in New Delhi and Senior Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Fortis Hospital in New Delhi. Since 2007, he has been heading the Surgical Oncology Division at Vydehi Cancer Center, Bengaluru.
Currently, he serves as the Chief Surgical Oncologist at Vydehi Cancer Center. He practices in the subspecialty divisions of Head and Neck Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal Cancer and Musculoskeletal Cancer. With extensive publications in distinguished indexed national and international journals and collaborative clinical trials with renowned research bodies in India sponsored by notable organizations, Dr. Ganesh is a Medical Council of India recognized Professor for M.Ch. Surgical Oncology training.
