Patients requiring drug infusion which last a few hours are treated in Daycare. At Vydehi Cancer Centre,there is fully equipped state of art 12 bedded Daycare managed by experienced chemotherapy delivery nursing personnel and doctors. These staff nurses are well trained in procuring venous access,mixing and delivery of complex drugs. There are adequate facilities for continuous monitoring of patients for any adverse reactions. A total of 500-600 chemotherapies are delivered to patients every month.
Patients requiring admission either for supportive care or for intercurrent problems are admitted in general wards, semiprivate or private room wards. We have 80 inpatient beds only for Medical Oncology patients. Patients receive appropriate care at very affordable costs.
