Introduction

Dr. Sushmitha K. Thomas is a qualified radiation oncologist with specialized training in External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) and brachytherapy. She is well-versed in the comprehensive workup, diagnosis and treatment of various cancers. Dr. Sushmitha K. Thomas has expertise in advanced treatment delivery procedures, including 3D-CRT and IMRT techniques, specifically for head and neck, brain, gynecological, breast, lung and gastrointestinal cancers. She is also skilled in pain management, handling oncological emergencies and providing palliative care. Dr. Sushmitha has further honed her skills through the 41st ICRO PG Teaching Course on Brachytherapy at Shankara Hospital, Bangalore, in June 2022 and the AROI ICRO Radiobiology Workshop in September 2022.
