IMAGE GUIDED RADIATION TREATMENT (IGRT)

Image Guided Radiation Treatment (IGRT)

Vydehi Cancer Center proudly led the way in Southeast Asia by pioneering laser-guided Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT). IGRT is an advanced technique that incorporates imaging during radiation therapy to enhance the precision and accuracy of treatment delivery.

At our center, we utilize Cone Beam CT (CBCT) and 4 DCT to provide real-time imaging that ensures precise targeting of the tumor. This technology is often employed alongside other high-precision radiotherapy methods such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).

By integrating IGRT with these advanced treatment modalities, we significantly improve the accuracy of radiation delivery, thereby optimizing treatment effectiveness and minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.

At Vydehi Cancer Center, our commitment to cutting-edge technology ensures that our patients receive the most precise and effective radiation therapy available.
