Hepatopancreaticobiliary tumors constitute a group of rare cancers, where accurate diagnosis and treatment can be challenging. At Vydehi Cancer Centre we have the facilities and the expertise to treat all the HPB cancers. A multidisciplinary team consisting of a hepatologist, surgical oncologist, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist and intervention radiologist meet and decide on the optimal treatment for each and every patient. The surgical oncology department performs complex surgeries like hepatectomies for liver cancer, radical biliary resections, pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreas cancer and surgery for cancer of the gall bladder on a regular basis.
